What is Red Square Radio about |

So what is Red Square Radio
all about, it’s all about the Artists, the music, and the listeners, but not necessarily in that order.
It’s not here for the
artists that get regular air time on radio and TV, though they are more than
welcome to become Red Square artists should they want to, it’s here for the
artists that want to have their music played worldwide and be heard.
 How we do that is by having
the artists grant Red Square Radio and its broadcast partners a broadcast rights
wavier.
What that means is that any
business or individual that has registered with Red Square Radio can play the
radio feeds in any public area without the need to have a PRS, PPL or any other
worldwide performance rights license, that is a big incentive to anyone to play
Red square Radio feeds over other music. Think of it as artists using a limited number of their songs to market the rest. |

What is a Broadcast Partner; Any
business that plays Red Square Radio in their public areas.
It’s free for "Broadcast Partners" and there is no contract. We send
you a rights wavier license when you register as a broadcast partner.
 That license
is an A4 sheet you print and display at your place of work or business, that
shows all interested parties that the music you are playing in your public area
is from any of the Red Square Radio genre feeds.
The license
is to play the radio feed only and not the right to broadcast song downloads
from artist’s pages, it is the artist choice what songs they allow to be played
rights free and we would ask you to respect that.
You may however record the radio feed and play
that in your public area if you do not have an internet connection.
There are
some terms and conditions and you are requested to read them when you get the e-mail and the attached pdf. |

Music is a powerful tool, it can paint a story by note and tone that the moving image can't, so the right music for your project is a must have, but rights cost constraints must always be taken into account, Red Square Radio and its artist base could be the answer.  Are you an independent TV
